A good rotation leaves room to react. The best teams do not require every encounter to happen on a perfect timer.
Read the enemy first
Separate a guard break from a normal stagger. A guard break is the dependable window for your longest attack; a light stagger may end before a charged skill completes. Save movement skills for repositioning when the next attack is uncertain.
Build a four-slot rotation
Bring one sustained damage source, one defensive option and two characters that solve the encounter's positioning or elemental requirements. A second damage dealer is useful only if you can give both enough time on the field.
Elemental signatures
Verdant fields support extended engagements. Tidal control keeps groups together. Ember pressure rewards stationary targets, while Astral piercing gains value when several enemies share a line. Practice each pair before adding a third reaction to a rotation.
Practice drill
Run the same low-pressure room twice. First focus on never missing a defensive cue. On the second run, add one extra skill to each safe window. Compare completion time only after both runs are comfortable.
